Untitled by Awoniyi Rasheed

Once the sun had set in for the pregnant dusk…
I creep yet to my lonely window…
where the half naked moon dwindle in sorrow…
as to the deafening drum of silence engulf my taught…
slaying my emotions in a battle well fought…
and to sinister shadow my fear been bought…
for salty tear my eyes lament….
life yet again had strip me stack naked…
the heart of man cruelty has blinded….
